Since the expansion, we are now striving to identify the needs of all ages and search for the appropriate solutions for our immigrant families. During the last fiscal year, we have initiated many new programs for children, youth, and adults to support the basic needs of these immigrant families. Furthermore, we have exerted more effort than ever to reach out to all Korean-Americans in the Chicago metropolitan area in order to help to maintain a cross-generational sense of cultural and ethnic identity. Hanul would like to help all Korean-Americans to see our Korean heritage and sense of identity in its best possible light.

While much has changed since we were founded in 1987, our commitment to supporting families and individuals in need has not. We will face many challenges as we move forward for future growth and expansion, but we feel a strong sense of optimism knowing that together we will once again rise to any challenges. We invite you to take a look at the highlights of what we have done during Fiscal Year 2008, and encourage you to learn more about us at our website, www.hanulusa.org.
