Once Upon a Time in Korea

Once upon a time in Korea program is a monthly educational and cultural program for children. The primary purpose of the program is to read Korean folk tale to early childhood children. Through this storytelling event, children can get a chance to learn about Korean traditional folk tales as well as culture. The program activities include storytelling event and craft activities. The volunteer storytellers read the Korean folk tales in both Korean and English. All Korean immigrants and other ethnic group children who are interested in Korean folktales are welcomed.

Mentorship Program

Youth Mentorship Program by Hanul Family Alliance connects junior and senior high school students who want to explore future careers with volunteer mentors who are experts of various fields. Those volunteer mentors will guide and assist our youths to find their future careers. Through individual meetings with the volunteer mentors, the participants will have one day job shadowing visit and other volunteer opportunities.



College Preparatory Conference

Annually, Hanul holds college preparatory conference. All students and parents who want to know the details about their college preparation are welcomed. The experienced experts from various fields are invited. The topics cover from the exams such SAT and ACT to essay writing. Above all, federal financial assistant program and other scholarship program are introduced as well.

Caregiver Program

Funded by the Suburban Area Agency on Aging, Age Options, Hanul provides caregiver support program. This program is designed to lessen the burden and stress of caregivers. Hanul provides counseling, education, support group, community resources information referrals in Hanul Suburban Office. Besides, series of outreach education program, and monthly health care information are offered.
