Legacy of Guiding Light for Family Care

Navigating health and wellness within the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is a challenge. With Hanul Home Care, you can rest assured knowing that you and your loved ones are safe while receiving care at home. We strive to help clients age gracefully and enjoy continual, dignified care. If you or your loved ones request assistance, we are here to help!

Hanul home care services are an alternative to inhabiting a long-term living facility and allow you or your loved ones to remain in your home. We have served the Chicagoland community with home care services for over twenty years. We are proud to be a part of the Community Care Program (CCP). CCP pays for home care services for older adults based on eligibility. We have recently introduced our private pay services to the community as well. Get your FREE assessment today

CCP Home Care Services

Supported by Illinois Department on Aging (IDOA)’s Community Care Program (CCP), Hanul’s in-home service was implemented in 1989. The goal of the program is to provide assistance to home-bound Korean older adults. Services include but are not limited to, household and daily living tasks which foster the maintenance of one’s independent agency. Assistance through home care aides engages older adults socially and emotionally and encourages physical and psychological well-being. The ultimate purpose of this service is to improve qualities of life by cherishing dignity and maintaining independence.

To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:

  •  Are 60 years old or older

  • Are either U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens within the specific categories

  • Are residents of Illinois

  • Have non-exempt assets of $17,500 or less (your home, car, or personal furnishings are classified as exempt assets)

  • Have an assessed need for long-term care (to be at risk for nursing facility placement as measured by the Determination of Need (DON) assessment).

Private Home Care Service

Administered by the Illinois Department of Public Health, Hanul holds a private home care license. This allows us to provide in-home assistance to people who do not meet the eligibility guidelines for the Community Care Program (CCP).

Regardless of age, legal status, or income level, anyone who meets the criteria for services is welcome to apply!

Are you a non-Medicaid client that is currently receiving Medicare, or supplemental insurance, or are uninsured?
