Opting for Hanul home care services offers a viable alternative to relocating to a long-term living facility, enabling you or your loved ones to continue residing in the familiar surroundings of your home. With a longstanding presence in the Chicagoland community, we take pride in delivering reliable home care services. As a registered Home Care provider under the Community Care Program (CCP), we offer home care services at no cost for eligible older adults. CCP Home Care Services

Established in 1989 through the support of the Illinois Department on Aging's (IDoA) Community Care Program (CCP), Hanul's in-home services aim to assist home-bound Korean older adults. These services encompass various tasks, promoting independent living and enhancing social, emotional, and physical well-being. The ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life by preserving dignity and sustaining independence.

Qualification Criteria (provided by the IDoA):

  • Be 60 years old or older

  • Either U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens within specified categories

  • Residents of Illinois

  • Have non-exempt assets of $17,500 or less; and

  • Have an assessed need for long-term care (to be at risk for nursing facility placement as measured by the Determination of Need (DON) assessment)

  • Apply for and, if eligible, enroll in Medicaid

Private Home Care Service

Hanul, licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), offers private home care services for those who don't meet CCP eligibility guidelines. Regardless of legal status or income level, older adults interested in receiving home care services is welcome to apply.
