Day 1

Raspberry Pi: Coding lesson with Fay Kang (Epic Programmer, The University of Chicago Medicine)

Living Paintings with Glowing Microbes: Chemistry experiment with Seok Hoon Hong (Assistant Professor, Illinois Institute of Technology)

Day 2

My First Experience with Robotics: Robotics activities with Young Soo Park (Program Leader, Argonne National Laboratory)

Bio-Inspired Nano Materials & Surfaces: Biology experiment with Kyoo Chul Park (Assistant Professor, Northwestern University)

Day 3

Field trip to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago!

All students must wear closed-toed shoes and long pants for lab experiments (students may bring these items to change into during lab times).

Fee $120

Group of 3+ $100 per student

Group of 5+ $80 per student

We are also looking for volunteers for the Science Camp!

It’s a perfect opportunity for ongoing high school seniors and college students to volunteer and spend time with the youth. All staff and volunteers must attend mandatory orientation on Saturday, July 20.
